Mommy and Me - Eastvale Parks and Rec Dept.

As the Director of Eastvale Parks and Recreation's Mommy and Me program, I developed the curriculum, activities, and field trips from the ground up to nurture early childhood development through music, play, and hands-on learning. My program was a hit, with enrollment exploding to four full classes daily - the most the department had ever seen.

I also ran the Eeastvale Elementary after-school program where I developed fun and exciting lessons that the kids could engage in like music and drawing, crafts, outdoor activities, and helped in their development by working with parents on student's goals, providing emotional support and guidance, and helping to teach valuable skills in inter-personal connection and incident management.

Not only did I help little ones grow, but I also coached the girl's volleyball team to the championship finals. Though we didn't clinch the top trophy, we learned lessons in confidence, teamwork, and having fun along the way. My time in Parks and Rec taught me how fulfilling it is to build community, empower youth, and make a difference in people's lives.
